Music...

I have now created the music for the end of my video. I had to create a sound cloud account in order to upload my audio onto blogger. I composed the music myself as I sang and created a beat like sound. The two sounds will play simultaneously whilst the credits are rolling on the screen. The audio tracks are below:

Sound between Headlines....

For a number of days I have been looking for a sound effect to use between headlines. The effect I am looking fr is a drum like sound that is played between the BBC headlines. An example is shown below:

Till around 1 minute of the clip the headlines are being reported and there is an effect used to separate each headline. I was looking for a effect like this but I could not find any on the sound websites that I visited. Therefore, I decided to compose the sound myself as I had a clear idea of what I wanted. The sound is below:

Noise Issues...

I've found it very difficult to reduce the noise in two of the clips in my video. At times what the interviewees were saying seems low as the noise, particularly that of the wind is very strong. I tried to reduce the noise on Adobe Premiere Pro using the denoiser effect, but that did not seem to be effective. After doing some research I found that an application called Adobe Audition can reduce the level of background noise within a clip. I tried to download the application on several occasions but half way through the download it would always say that the download cannot continue until the following applications: Adobe Dynamic Link Manager are closed. I did not know what the application even was, so I just gave up downloading the software. Therefore I will have to leave the noise as it is. The videos are shown below:

  

Recording..

Today I recorded the voiceover section for my video. I did initially record it on Camtasia and a voice recorder on my camera but they were not very clear. In the end I decided to use the voice recorder on my brothers HTC One X. I really liked the recording because it was very clear. The recording is below:

Creating the Music...

Yesterday evening I created the sound for the "theme tune" of my news report. I never had plans to use sounds or music from other websites because I already knew what type of music I wanted. I create two music sounds which I wanted both to play simultaneously in the video. The two sound clips are below:

However, when I uploaded them onto Premiere Pro and played them simultaneously, it did not sound right. The timing of the two did not match, it was as if one sound was faster than the other. So I decided to only use the last sound clip and I think it was more effective than using both of them.

Editing...

I am still editing my project, overall I believe that it is going well. I think that I am finally grasping the application, which I am happy about because at the beginning I thought that I would really struggle using this software. Below are some screen shots of the editing process.
